Gioia Wang

Hi, I’m Gioia (Joy-ah), a senior at Washington University in St. Louis studying Communication Design, with minors in Marketing and Human-Computer Interaction. I came to design because it gives me a way to turn empathy into something tangible. At the center of my process is a simple question: what does this person need to understand right now?

This is where I get to be curious about people and precise about “why” behind every design decision. I find passion in designing digital products from concept through working prototype, crafting interfaces that feel intuitive, cohesive, and uniquely their own.

Lately, I've also been exploring how emerging technology can augment human creativity and open new possibilities for people to express themselves, understand information, and connect with one another.
